The twins Castor and Pollux are both accessible as a day trip from Klein Matterhorn. The "smaller twin" offers you a varied ascent in snow, ice and rock, as well as easy rock climbing with the help of metal chains attached to the rock. The climb takes approx. 5-6 hours from Klein Matterhorn and back and requires good acclimatisation as well as good physical condition.
