The half-traverse of the Breithorn takes you along the exposed rock ridge from east to west to the main summit of Breithorn. Solid rock, climbing passages with grade 4 difficulty, and the partially exposed ridge with a breathtaking view, give this climb a unique high-alpine character. The climb takes approx. 5 hours from Klein Matterhorn and requires good acclimatisation as well as climbing experience (climbing with crampons).
