 
The ascent of the "bigger twin" offers you varied snow and ice climbing. It is suitable for ambitious climbers who are well acclimatised and in good physical condition. The climb from Klein Matterhorn to the summit and back takes approx. 6 hours.

Equipment
Good climbing boots suitable for use with crampons, climbing harness, crampons, 1 ski or hiking pole, gaiters, warm weather-proof clothes (sweater, jacket, long johns), warm gloves and mittens, a warm hat, a hat for protection from the sun, sunglasses, high factor sun screen, a thermos flask (for warm drinks, approx. 1 lt. capacity), packed lunch (refreshments: high-energy food such as chocolate, dried fruit, glucose, etc.), a pocket knife, rucksack.
